Established in 2005, this locally-owned and operated music studio offers high-quality piano, voice and guitar instruction to students of all ages.
We are located in West Des Moines, just west of Historic Valley Junction, near the intersection of Grand Avenue and E.P. True Parkway.
Grand Music Studio is currently accepting new students for:
- Individual Piano Lessons
- Individual Voice Lessons
- Individual Guitar Lessons
- Young Singers Class - ages 4+
- Guitar Camp (June 17 - 22)
- Music Theory Class
- Vocal Jazz Camp (dates to be announced)

Summer Guitar Camp
Taught by GMS Guitar/Bass Instructor Ben Chappell
Guitar Camp will be held the week of June 17. Monday through Friday 3pm to 5pm daily with a group performance on Saturday, June 22. Click here for more information and to register for camp.
Vocal Jazz Music Camp
Taught by GMS Voice/Piano Instructors Jordan Pohlmann & Mary Pohlmann

Collaborative Music Classes
Taught by GMS Piano Instructor Ann Hargens
Four Collaborative Music Classes will be held Sundays in August.
August 4, 11, 18, 25 - 1:00 to 2:30pm
Students must be at least an intermediate level on instrument/voice of choice and have one or more pieces performance ready by the first session. Click here for more information and to register.

- Tuesday, December 24 through Wednesday, January 1 - End of the Year/Holiday Break
