Guitar Instructor Needed
Position Description & Requirements
Grand Music Studio is seeking a qualified guitar instructor to join our growing studio.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate wide-range of guitar skills - including, but not limited to classical, jazz, blues, rock and Christian music
- Collegiate-level musical knowledge including theory and history
- Ability to work with students of all ages and ability levels from 4 to adult
- Some private, one-on-one teaching experience (2+ years)
- Knowledge of standard guitar repertoire and appropriate selections for students based on difficulty levels
Additional Information:
- Opportunities available if candidate has experience teaching group music classes to very young children and/or older adults
- Potential to increase number of students depending on availability throughout the week
All instructors at Grand Music Studio are considered Independent Contractors. Compensation is on a per-lesson basis and based on previous experience and skill level. All income taxes and reporting requirements are the responsibility of the Independent Contractor.
