About Grand Music Studio
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Grand Music Studio opened its doors in December 2005 as Peppers Piano Studio in a small one-room studio in Historic Valley Junction. Our goal was to offer high-quality, personalized music instruction to any student.
Though we have moved to a larger space to accommodate our growing studio, the goal has remained the same. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome to sign up for lessons.
STUDIO GOALS
Grand Music Studio is designed to be a comfortable space for creative development. D. Ann Hargens or "Ahn", owner and piano instructor, strives to provide a wide range of creative outlets and activities for all students.
The studio incorporates elements of world music by introducing students to instruments from different cultures of the world. Percussive instruments build rhythm skills as well as introduce students to a diverse range of sounds.
Students are enouraged to learn more than one area of focus and to develope skills in music theory, music history and compositional elements. Our instructors coach students on mastering pieces while adding their own unique style.
